In the post-war Midwest, a local businessman, C.W. Terry, started an
insurance agency to help meet the insurance needs of friends and
neighbors to protect their autos, homes, businesses, and families. His
daughter Kathy Dozier and son-in-law John D. Dozier joined him in the
agency. In 1972, John D. Dozier and wife Kathy Dozier established the
Dozier Insurance Agency in Quincy, Illinois. In 1980 their son J.T.
(John Terry) Dozier, joined the firm which was incorporated 1985. Today
headed by 3rd generation insurance producer J.T. Dozier, the Dozier
Insurance Agency, Inc. continues in the same tradition set by C.W. Terry
over 50 years ago, meeting the insurance needs of our friends and
neighbors by placing them with quality insurers.
